Horror Mega

A "Silent Hill" styled Megaman from Capcom's Megaman series. Since I wanted him to be the protagonist still, I couldn't make him as evil and depraved as his fellows. However, I still tried to make him crazed and twisted looking. True to his VG counterpart, he'd made to be a modular "bare-bones" type HM. His limbs are all removable and interchangable, as well as the cell on his back, which is attached to a large port-type structure on his back. Also, all those slots on his limbs are made to house various weaponry attatchments. His Megabuster (replaces his arm) can also house multiple types of munitions, but uses a low-power beam when empty, which itself is only capable of stunning most of the other HMs. Naturally he carries as much ammo as he can, and wears several belts to hold items. Compared to other HMs he's somewhat under-par, neither having as much strength, painkillers, or internal firepower.

Background: Rockford Baldwin was a rookie cop in training, going along with his senior officer to investigate a series of bizzare murder scenes. However, they were jumped by Wily's HMs. His partner was brutally killed, and Rock lost both legs before passing out from bloodloss. Wily used him as a subject for his "modular" experiments stolen from his ex-collegue, Dr. Light's work, naming him "Mega" due to his flexibility. However, before Wily could put him through the brain-altering surgury, Light intervened and pleaded to not destroy Rock's mind, being only an experiment after all. Wily humored him and allowed Mega to remain independant, save for the loss of his memories. His ordeal sent him insane, however, making him paranoid and somewhat schizophrenic, and Light retreated to his own little corner of Hades Labs. Mega was used simply for Wily's little errands, meeting many of his fellow HMs in the process, and developing a great deal of sympathy for them. He was also designed to be security in a pinch.

Personality: Rock was always kind and had a strong sense of justice, traits which followed him to his new state. However, he remains paranoid and jumpy due to his trauma and shattered memories. His insanity also makes him somewhat naive. He has a few nervous tics as well. Despite being somewhat loyal to Wily, he still dislikes him for the constant aching of his body and the torment his "brothers and sisters" must feel, and yearns to do the right thing. However, with the removal of his memories of the law, he now has to decide for himself "right and wrong", a task he has difficulty with. Also, when equipped with another HM's tank, he begins exhibiting some of their insane quirks, and feels the same torment they were forced to as well.
